The problem

Revenue teams record thousands of sales calls inside conversation-intelligence platforms — a library that’s valuable and locked in. When ZoomInfo repriced Chorus.ai, teams renegotiating or leaving hit a bad choice: keep paying indefinitely just to retain access to years of recordings, lose the data at contract end, or buy a five-figure services engagement to get it out.

What portshift does

portshift is a SaaS for revenue-intelligence data portability. It extracts every recording, transcript, and call-metadata record from Chorus.ai and delivers it into storage the customer owns — their own Azure Blob container — permanently and verifiably, at a fraction of the cost of staying on the platform. No subscription required.

  • Enumerate every Chorus.ai engagement, then stream recordings + transcripts + metadata straight into the customer’s own cloud.
  • Emit a SHA-256 manifest on every run — a compliance-grade audit trail — with resumable, idempotent jobs that never duplicate.
  • Zero-retention: customer credentials and data are discarded the moment the job completes.

What’s next

Chorus.ai → Azure Blob ships first. Behind the same adapter seams, on the roadmap: a Gong source connector, S3 and GCS destinations, and an Azure Marketplace one-click managed app (Managed Identity, no secrets to hand over).

Status & stack

Building, in early access — the marketing site and lead intake are live at portshift.app, and the extraction engine that already ran a full-scale Chorus.ai migration is being productized into the hosted SaaS. Next.js 15 + TypeScript on the grovv-stack foundation, Neon Postgres + Drizzle for job and manifest state, a Fly.io worker running the extraction, Stripe for checkout, and the customer’s Azure Blob as the destination.
